We bought the 25MB/s from comcast around 2 weeks ago.
My older sister's computer is connected directly to the modem, and receives the full 25mb/s speeds 24/7.
My and my younger sister's internet connection, as well as 2 other computers are wireless so they normally only reach speeds up to 13mb/s with an upload speed of 5mb/s. (My computer has reached up to 18mb/s in the past)
Mind you we have 5 computers in my household. (But at max only 3 of them are online at the same time)
Recently my download speed fluctuates to hell, and on some days is lovely, and other like this: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2725357194.png
My upload speed is always a constant 5mb/s. Earlier today my download speed was as low as 1mb/s. I understand that because i am wireless i should expect these types of fluctuations, but should i really only be receiving 1mb/s of download speed? It was pretty much 3mb/s when we had AT&T and I could do aboslutely nothing. I cannot comfortably play online games because of these speeds causing my ping to skyrocket, no matter what game I play.
As a result of my slow download speeds, I run ping and speed tests around 20 times per day.

My friend advised me that Comcast could have given us a faulty modem/router, if this is true, would this be the cause of my random drops in download speeds?
