Hi zardox, and welcome to TSG?
Did the adapter come with any kind of a setup/drivers CD? If so, does it list Vista as a supported operating system?
Does the adapter have any model number?
To answer your question, some wireless routers may support being configured as a wireless bridge or there may be third party firmware available to reconfigure it to act a wireless bridge. A computer or other device would then connect to the bridge using an Ethernet cable to the router's LAN port.
