Not really. I remember little about Vista details, and never did much file sharing with it anyhow. In the Properties for the drive look at the sharing and security (those are what they are called in Windows 7) and see what settings may be giving the user on the remote computer read but not write access. Sorry, but I cannot be any more specific than that.
