We have 4 holiday cottages all in a row joined together with a phone line for Broadband coming in to one end
Am thinking about having an ADSL wireless router at one end, and having 2 cables coming out of the ethernet ports to travel down the length of the long building - one to a wireless access point half way down, and the other cable to a wireless access point at the far end to deal with the cottage on the end
Has anyone got any advice on the best type of router (and access points) to use to prevent IP address conflicts etc, considering there may be 10-15 different people each week connected at the same time
And type of cable to use to future proof and advances in speed there may be
I don't think a powerhub connector through the electricity would be ideal as they are on different ring mains
Thanks
