I have this one house that I am struggling to get WiFi to the outer edges and it is not wired with Cat5. I have 5 main zones/rooms to cover. The house is like an L Shape with the Kitchen(1st floor) and Office (2nd Floor) on the L. I have the Asus router in the Office on top of a printer at a window. I have the Printer plugged directly in with a Cat 5 into the router with the WiFi off so hopefully that won't interfere. I am getting a decent signal to the Dining Room (1st floor), No signal on the patio (1st floor just outside from Dining room) and a weak intermittent signal in the Library (end room on the straight of the L. My Plan was to place the ASUS (EA-N66) just outside the Dining Room where the signal is good. I hope that will stretch to cover the Patio and Library. I really want to go with one SSID for the router and Repeater. There is also a Sonos system set up and am afraid that with two SSID set up it will disconnect to often. Appreciate and advice or suggestions you have. Thanks.
