Here are a few quick things to try.....
1. I am assuming you mean an Asus Wireless Router. If that is the case, reboot the router. Sometimes the cache in the router/switch can cause these types of issues. This will also refresh the DNS and DHCP on your network. (As a side note, this might also be a great reason to check and make sure you are running the latest firmware for your Asus router).
2. If this is an OPEN wireless network (no password) the computer will not connect automatically unless it is a preferred/profiled wireless network.
3. Update the drivers for your WiFi card from the Lenovo site to make sure you have the latest version of the drivers. Sometimes the built-in WiFi drivers (Windows 7) can be dated.
If not of this works or is not applicable post back and we can see if we can figure something else out.
