Downloads from internet won't open in word document

As per etaf, my first assumption would be that you don't have Microsoft Word installed on your computer.

Check if you have word on your start screen. Go to the start screen, and just type in "word" without the quotes. If you cant find Microsoft Word, then you will not be able to open office documents.

You can download the free Kingsoft office from http://www.kingsoftstore.com/download-office which will allow you to open the latest Microsoft Office documents
