Hey guys! This is my first post so forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place. I wanted to know if Charter would go the extra few yards just to give my area DSL. I do live in a rural area, but the thing is I live right on the border of NC and VA (But technically I live in VA). My neighbors in NC can get Charter, Comcast, and all that good stuff. I mean they really do live right beside us. When I go to there site it says they don't support this area. Which doesn't make sense to me. I haven't called them yet so is there anyway to get someone out here to check? The reason why I want to get rid of satellite internet is because I'm a gamer, and I watch a lot of Netflix. First off, you can't even game on satellite internet :( and Netflix uses a lot of bandwidth, and my cap is frickin 10GB! Which is outrageous since my mother pays over $100 for TV and internet and most of the time the internet is capped anyways. :/ I just really want service from anything other than satellite, and dail-up... Thanks for any help! I understand DSL is just copper wire so Charter do the math! :P
