Yeah, I've done that :)
As I said, airplane mode doesnt turn the Wifi adapter on or off, just the bluetooth part. And the adapter in the network and sharing center says "Not Connected" and th option to disable it is there, so it very probably means that it is enabled.
It also shows as enabled and working properly everywhere else (Devices manager, etc...)
As I said... this is driving me NUTS!
I'm pretty sure there is a little something somewhere to turn the thing on, but I can't find it... Ubuntu can... ARGH ! :)
