My sister can't access to some websites (especially .it websites) with her MacBook Pro (late 2009) and her ipad mini.
She lives in north italy, her ISP is WIND and this is the traceroute from her MacBook Pro running a clean installation of Mavericks (she had this problem even with previous versions of Mac OS X): I took examples with this website http://www.conforama.it
Her husband has a Asus laptop running Windows 7 and he can reach the website normally.
I live in Rome and i also have the same ISP and a MacBook Pro running Mavericks but i can open the website normally, this is my tracerout:
As you can see my tracerout ends with 62.149.190.44 but my sister's doesn't. We both use GoogleDNS. I forgot to mention that her problem is browser-indipendent. She tried to our parent's home where they have an Ubiquiti Router and AP and a different ISP (Telecom Italia) and se had no problem opening that particular website.
So, should be a problem with the ISP or is her problem? Thanks guys.
