yes, they may charge you to do that, and with no competition in UK for cable , they have no reason not to :( :(
BT infinity is being rolled out - but thats fibre to the exchange and not usually to the house , and still uses the copy telephone wires to the house
BT expect to cover the whole UK by the end of 2013 - but still may noit be competition with virgin , for speed ,unless they invest in cable to the home
