Solved: Can Not Access portal

Hello.


We are using web based software, called BST. The app and the SharePoint portal are on the same server. One user can't access the portal but can access the app fine. He gets "this page cannot be displayed message" when using his original computer to log on to the portal. He has tried to use another users computer logged in as himself in some cases he is fine on others not.


I can ping the server name fine on his computer, however can't ping the portal.


I have removed all the Lmhosts and Hosts references.


Any pointer are appreciated.
