This user guide includes three ways to connect.
Note that "wirelessly connect an unpowered USB device" is a non-starter. Any electronic device (including an USB one) needs some power, and the radio needed for a wireless connection draws more power than most small electronic devices. I'm sure you'd like to reword that need. :)
