Hello,
So lately I realized my laptop has had some networking issues. I went on speedtest.net and saw that my laptop has been averaging 2-6 mbps down, where as my desktop has been averaging around 26-30 mbps down. So I logged into my router and changed the interface type to N only as well as the channel but there doesn't seem to be a change in speed when I run the speed test. So I plugged in an Ethernet cord to still see the same results :/
At this point I am fairly certain that there must be some program interfering with my internet connection on my laptop. So I reboot my laptop into "Safe Mode with Networking" and run a speed test that confirms my suspicion (test came out to 33.49 mbps down). So when I boot back normally I run "msconfig" disable some startup programs but still no results. I am hoping that someone on this forum can help me nail down which software or whatever it is that is causing the interference. Thank you in advance!
Oh and I forgot to add: I made sure the drivers were updated!
