Hello.
I have 2 computers at home, a Win 7, connected via cable to my modem, and a MacOs 10.8.5 Macbook, connected via wifi.
Problem: I cannot connect to Facebook for about 10 hours now. The website stays empty in google chrome when I go there, no warning or 404, just white. All other pages work.
Background: When I was playing games on my Win 7 computer, the internet stopped working around 2.30am, for at least 20 minutes. Since then I am unable to connect to Facebook on both computers.
Other than that, the internet works normal. However, I am also unable to connect to my router via 192.168.2.1 which usually works.
I'm not very tech savvy and worry that there may be some infection. I use Chrome on both computers. I just tried to connect to Facebook via Safari, WHICH WORKED. I typed in login and password, and then again, white wall, nothing.
Looking forward for replies. Have had internet for 12 weeks here now and not had problems before.

PS: the internet situation is a bit complicated here; details can be found here (https://admin.kuleuven.be/icts/engli...4-wireless-hub). Basically, you get internet through cable, the modem does not have wifi or more than 1 connection. So what you do is buy a wifi router but you have to teach it to not work as router by disabling all kinds of options (disable DHCP and UPNP).
EDIT: when I clicked the "share this on facebook" link here, it looked like it worked. Weird.
