Re: Uk slow wireless speed

Hi guys

Following your & Plusnet advice I bought & installed for my laptop powerline adapter TL-PA211. For 6 days I haven’t experienced a drop in speed. However the day before yesterday it happened again& I was furious. I have done already endless tests as Plusnet have instructed (presumably because they don’t want to send an engineer & they get the broadband from a supplier). Previously it seemed as if the speed at front room near the main is about 13Mpbs (out of 18Mpbs they claim to provide). But at the back room it has kept dropping to 3 Mpbs or less. After my complaint on the day before yesterday eventually they admitted they have found something on the setting of my line which cause the constant substantial speed drops & said they have done some changes on their end. However yesterday & today I found out that there were speed drops from 12 Mpbs to about 6 Mpbs In additions this finding was the same at the front room with & without Ethernet cable, as well as, at the back room. Furthermore the telephone line has become very noisy. Also Think broadband has warned me many times that during speed tests they have found variable speeds which affect the quality of videos I watch.
Plusnet initially claimed as if they are only responsible for the broadband they provide to the flat at the front room & if their wireless network 514B41 doesn’t work at my back room it isn’t their responsibility. However my findings through speed tests of today & yesterday may indicate that the problem isn’t due to some mysterious obstacle at my flat nor the channels (which I have tried all of them) but the quality of wireless network Plusnet provides or the router( which is the second they have provided).
My question is if you know how do I get out of these 7 months mess?
