Killer e2200 NIC developing problems, DNS errors

I've recently done a build that includes a Killer NIC e2200 on the motherboard. The first month went by pretty smoothly and I was very happy with the speeds and pings I was getting.

Recently, I've ran into some problems. I have a feeling that it may be driver related but I wanted to check here first.

The first thing that happened was, using the Killer Network Manager, I blocked a few programs from using the internet (nothing serious, just a couple games). This caused the internet icon on the bottom right to display a red X through it, indicating that there were no connections at all. The internet continued to work fine for a few weeks, even though it said there were no connections on the corner, when you actually go to Network Connections, the connection is there and says connected. I unblocked those programs and restored default application settings, but it did not fix the icon.

Now for about a week or so, I'm having DNS issues, but they only happen while downloading files, and now just today, while streaming video. Now I'm going to need to clarify, because the actual file downloading or video stream playing works fine, but when I try to view any websites while downloading or streaming videos, I get DNS not responding errors, and have to stop the download or video stream before it will load any website. I have tried DNS jumper to see if it really was a DNS problem, but it didn't fix it (although, I am enjoying an even better ping and even faster webpage loading, but only when it works lol)

Needless to say, it is very frustrating and any help is appreciated.
