So I got a verizon mifi jetpack, and have a belkin share max n300 with external drives connected. I want to connect to my external drives on the belkin router (guess make it an access point?) I only own 1 laptop. I went into the belkin share max n300 settings. Turned off DHCP server on Belkin. Both MiFi and belkin have same SSID, security, and password. I selected in the belkin settings "Enable Access Point". IP Address of MiFi is 192.168.1.1, with a range of 192.168.1.10~200. I put into Belkin the IP address 192.168.1.2. Green light is lit on the Belkin. I cannot connect to the Belkin by typing 192.168.1.2, but I do have internet access ok through Mifi. How do I or can I access from laptop to my external drive connected to the Belkin AP? Apparently the mapping of the external drives connected to the Belkin have changed since turning it into an AP. I'm either missing something, or not understanding something. Please help. Thank you!
