Okay. So for the short version of my problem, I have a wireless HTPC in my living room that I built myself, and it is running Windows 8.1 64-bit. I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 8.0.2. I can now see both device from my Wireless AP's Web GUI, unlike earlier because I have everything set to static ip addresses and my HTPC was not reporting the NetBIOS like it is now. So, both are visible on my AP under the "Attached Devices" tab! Great! I can get on my Desktop that is connected via a wired connection to the AP, and ping both the wireless HTPC and my iPhone 4S! Wonderful! Also, my wireless HTPC and iPhone 4S can ping my wired Desktop! However, I cannot get the iPhone 4S and the wireless HTPC to ping EACH OTHER! If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
