I wonder if anyone can help.
I run a VPN using OpenVPN GUI, and VPNCheck which manages the VPN and reconnects if it gets disconnected.
The problem I have is that more often than not if I reboot my system Windows forgets what my preferred DNS server is and until I go into Network Connections and change the adaptor settings for IPv4, manually typing in the DNS server the VPN obviously fails to connect.
Once I've done that it remembers the DNS server until the next reboot when it generally forgets it again and I have to go through the same process on reboot.
Can anyone suggest what might be causing this problem? Thanks in advance
