Windows 2003/2008 network. W7 desktops.
We have about 40 PCs in our location. Recently 4 stations began having intermittent trouble authenticating. Typically, the problem presents itself in the morning and resolves itself by mid-day, though recently one station has stopped connecting altogether.
When I connect the PCs to other jacks, they authenticate successfully (I'm typing on one now). We have three patch panels in the building, and the Cat 5 lines in the wall are spread out among the three.
I'm almost down to rats in the wall, trying to figure out what's going on. Any ideas?
