Aquos Tv not talking to Wifi

Thanks so much for replying. To answer your questions:

Are you sure you selected the right input mode i.e. TV, HDMI, etc.?
Yep,defo right input
Where does it say it's connected to the wireless with 5 bars?
I followed instructions per manual to set up wireless network and it says connected 5 bars.
What do you see on your screen when you turn it on?
How do you mean? Depends what input I select. I can access cable, Apple TV and Xbox
Do you hear any sound?
The tv works on cable and with apple tv, just the wireless not working
What apps are you trying to run?
Netflix
Anything else you can tell us?
The wireless worked great until my husband tried to change our IP address to get American Netflix using our pc. We did a trial 5 days of paying for a service to hide our ip. Although we no longer have the service he made our Smart TV a dumb TV!!
