To really understand this issue, we would want to see exactly what is going on... saying lost connection can be so many things. So just to confirm:
Who is your ISP?
What modem and router do you have? Is the modem from your ISP?
This issue happens to all wireless connections, wired connections, or both?
How often do you lose connection to the internet?
On your Windows devices, does it show Connected, No Internet Access, or Limited Connectivity / Local Access when you lose connectivity. With your Apple devices, does the wireless icon show it's not connected, as well as your Vonage device, does it indicate that it's lost connectivity, usually with a light indicator?
When you lose connectivity, please provide an IPCONFIG/ALL.
Also when you lose conntectivity, can you provide the results of the following commands in Command Prompt:
ping google.com
ping 74.125.277.199
ping 192.168.1.1 -- do this if the IPv4 Default Gateway is the same, otherwise subistute the IP address to the one listed in your current IPCONFIG.
tracert google.com
