On that Xirrus screen shot were you connected to the extender for most of the time (the time that it was graphed)? The signal is good, but I like to see even less variability in the signal strength. Assuming that you were not moving around during that time the variability may be trying to tell us something. Do you have the latest wireless driver from the PC manufacturer's web site?
It's probably that I don't understand extenders well enough, but do you know why the extender is showing 'n' mode and the router 'g' mode? What happens if you change (if that's possible) the extender to also be 'g' mode?
