Hi I have a very strange problem.Only our Apple devices will connect to our wifi.First let me explain our internet connection.
We have and pay for Internet through RCN cable However my husbands workplace gave him a juniper ssg5 router to connect to our modem so he can work from home a few days a week. He has a Cisco IP phone and laptop running windows 7 configured to connect directly to work via VPN. They also provided a second wireless net WPA for our family to use.
Here's the problem. As of yesterday none of our devices running Windows or Android will connect to the WPA network..Our Apple iPads and iPhone have no problem. We have two HP laptops one running Vista one running 8 and two Lg android phones.The problem seems to have started when I installed Firefox on my laptop running Vista then downloaded and started to install the Firefox app to my android phone.. Could that be the problem.? Then why would it effect my daughters phone and laptop also?
Oh btw hubby is Ocd about his network so although his juniper has two ports we should be able to use I don't see that happening until Friday after work he said he would call tech support then
