If the modem/router combo was replaced, your SSID and security key was probably changed and should've been given to you by the cable technician.

You also should've had your laptop turned on and made sure its wireless connection was working okay before he left.

If Wayne's instructions don't fix the problem, call your ISP tech support number and advise them of the problem.

They may be able to talk you through and fix the problem without sending a cable technician back to your home.
