PC is windows 7 with hamachi 2.2.0.328 and the tablet windows 8.1 with same hamachi 2.2.0.328. All critical and recommended updates from windows update installed on both. I have a skype account but don't have it installed on either PC or tablet because I never use it. Last time I used it was a year or two before I got the tablet which I've now had for about 3 years. I first installed and setup hamachi after the thread I started asking for a VPN recommendation, not quite two months ago.
