Roku/Amazon stream failures

Hi - I have had Roku for about 2 years with no problems. Have had Amazon prime for about same time - no problems. Lately streaming videos either won't load or if loads, stops after about 10 minutes - evening viewing - Roku also works on any other channels w/o problem. Among other solutions the Roku forum offered, this last one has me puzzled. Can someone help me find where I would do this - on the router menu??? That 192.168.x.x page??? I find the wording this person used to be confusing. Thanks.

Try setting a different DNS in your router. Both Amazon and Netflix seem somewhat sensitive to issues arising from issues to the path(s) to the CDN being used.

Try one of these at a time. You only need to change the first entry as that is the only one Roku uses:
Google DNS ( 8.8.8.8 )
Google DNS secondary ( 8.8.4.4 )
OpenDNS ( 208.67.222.222 )
Open DNS secondary ( 208.67.220.220 )
Level3 DNS ( 4.2.2.2 )
