Facebook not opening on one pc

this maybe a malware issue - we have a lot of facebook issues here
but first check

Checking the Host file

• Open Notepad - Start> Programs> Accessories> and right click on Notepad select "Run as Administrator" to open a notepad
• Now goto 'File' > 'Open' and browse to the HOSTS file - which will be located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. - you may need to change the drop down box next to the file name:box from Text Documents (*.txt) to ALL Files (*.*)
• The file should look like the info at the bottom of this post
  
  Now all you need to do is copy and paste those results into a reply here
  to do that:
  From the notepad menu - choose Edit - Select all
  all the text will now be highlighted
  Next
  From the notepad menu - choose Edit - Copy
  
  Now go back to the forum - goto the reply and then right click in the reply box and paste the results.
  The results from the notepad should now appear in the forum reply.
  
  
• Once you are finished, go up to 'File' and click 'Save'. Make sure to change the Save as Type: box to All files.
  Otherwise, Notepad may add a .txt extension to the file which will keep it from working. If you don't have your system set to show extensions, it's easy to miss that.
