d link 2730 U without telephone line

Hi,
I own a D-Link DSL-2730U Wireless N 150 ADSL2 4-Port Router. My doubt is that I used that modem to connect to internet using a telephone line in my home. But now I want to buy a datacard to connect to internet.

The modem doesn't have any USB connector to connect the datacard.
Using that Datacard can I use the DSL D-Link modem to spread wifi in my home without the use of any telephone line?
