wireless adapter to create a wifispot

Hi all,

I need to do the following: I have a pc connected to the internet via eternet and i want to plug a wireless adapter in order to create a wifi spot from that PC, is it possible to do that?

I thought about purchasing a d-link DWA-131 wireless adapter.
