Trying to get a client set up on Fios, but it's taking forever for Verizon to get their act together and get the fiber line into the building, so with the rest of the internal network already set up and configured, I'm looking to use an ipad with cellular access as a temporary solution.
If I set up a laptop to connect to the hotspot provided by the ipad, then connect it to the LAN, I can set up the internet connection sharing on the laptop to allow access to the internet, but I'm curious if anyone has done this before, and if so, how were the internet speeds?
We're looking at anywhere from 40-50 devices on the network at one time.
