keep having to power off my router

Had the same problem for the last month i revised the wiring to my room which is down stairs, pretty much designed as a basement, and while revising the lines i noticed the phone cord had snapped because of a rusty nail that was touching it. pretty much burned the isolation plastic somehow and i had to replace the cord and some filters to get my dsl back to normal.

your problem seems to be similar there is something going on with your wires or filters as my friend terry has said before me.
