router I bought not working with time warner

Nothing really stands out (as a problem) in that to me. Here are some things to try to fix or get a better handle on the issue.

Make sure you have the latest router firmware; then reset the router to factory default settings and reconfigure it.

Try a single channel (Bandwidth = 20 MHz only) and try channel 11 and then channel 1 to see if either makes a difference.

Test with the router's encryption disabled.
