it means you do not have a device in that PC that allows you to connect to a wireless network
the only way to get wireless to work on the PC is to buy a wireless adapter,as i posted above
you will not enable wireless on that PC by a friend you need hardware
how far is the desktop away from the router as you may not get a strong signal depending on location and whats in between and without a strong signal you may not connect anyway
