Upgraded ThinkPad laptop via ethernet from windows 8 to 8.1 then tested out fine. Shutdown for the night and removed the ethernet cable. Day later the Lenovo booted fine and the wireless SSID showed 5 bars on the charms bar. Clicked to connect and was prompted for the pw which was entered correctly. Charms said cannot connect to network. Next in device manager updated the Intel Centrino 6200 AGN adapter driver with the Microsoft version that was already on the HDD. Restarted and now could connect. Worked session internet was ok and shutdown. Next startup no wireless internet connection again. Updating network driver did not work this time. Is there some problem with 8.1 upgrade and wireless networking?
