Help setting up wifi from pc to device.

Hello all,
Im looking to setup a wifi hot-spot for my Nintendo DS3. I currently have internet running on my PC using a USB modern from Vividwireless. My goal is to simply use that net connection.

This is what ive found on the web.

Seems ill need to buy,

1) Is there another easier way ive missed?
2) Will buying the USB adapter work on Win7
3) What basic steps are there setting it up?
