Can't stay connected to wifi

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop with OS Windows 7, wireless router.
It recently started losing internet connection , few seconds on, then off for 30 seconds or more. Rebooting router did not help.
I restored laptop to a prior date and it seems ok now. Any thoughts if this happens again? Thanks
