It's a Dell Dimension E520. I assume the adapter type is USB. Once again, I am not very computer literate. I also looked at the link you provided and it said to right click on the Wireless Network Connection, then properties and then go to the wireless network tab and there wasn't one. Just General and Advanced. Yes, it it XP service pack 3. I apologize if you have to dumb it down for me.
