I had a power outage recently and after the power was restored, the network is incredibly slow. The internet speed is unchanged but accessing files on my other computer is nearly impossible. When I try to access something as small as a 30Kb PDF, it can take a minute to open. However, if I open the document on the networked computer first, I can open it from this computer at normal speeds. So as long as I open a document on the other comptuer first, it isn't slow to open. I've reset the routers and modem and tried different ports on my 16 port router but nothing helps.
I connect to the other computer through a 16 port router that my printers are also on. So my setup goes Actiontec Modem> Belkin Wifi/4 Port Router> Netgear 16 port gigabit switch> Desktops and printers.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
