Hi guys,
Just to say thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly and helpfully.
Reading your posts confirmed to me it was firmware (duh, I should have realized when that "Management Mode" screen kept coming up.) (Thanks, Coolburn!)
Anyone else who has this problem -- I think my problem doing the fix was that I didn't get the router truly reset (thanks, plodr!).
So, wired, I downloaded the firmware and saved to desktop. Then I put in router, did the reset, let the "Management Mode" message come up again, pointed to the firmware that I had saved to the desktop, and Voila -- all is good.
Good grief. Did I really spend so much time on this earlier? Thanks for stopping me from throwing the whole thing away!
