Lan will not connect

Ok well the problem is solved.. sortof... instead of trying to figure out the complexities of a Windowz error? or whatever.. I installed an old USB WiFi dongle that has been laying about the house for ages, a Ralink device.. downloaded the drivers and away we go on WiFi for the Beige Box.

So i guess its case closed for this issue.. just the printer to fix.. see my other post
