Hi
Just wondering if anyone has experience they can share regarding using 802.1x with HP ProCurve switches?
Specifically, I'm looking at HP desktops and Wyse Xenith terminals as the supplicants, HP 5406zl's as the Authenticator, and a Win2008R2 server with NAP as the Authentication Server. Some of the desktops and terminals will also have an Avaya 1608 dual port IP phone between them and the switch.
I've found some seemingly good documentation from HP (HP ProCurve Networking Application Notes) on this which should help but if anyone has guidence to share I'd be grateful. The documents I've found are: "How to configure 802.X authentication on ProCurve switches", "Integrating ProCurve IDM and Windows NAP", "How to configure 802.1X authentication with a Windows XP or Vista supplicant". Another Avaya one is the "Installation and Maintenance Guide" for the Avaya 1600 Series IP Deskphones, release 1.2.x.
Cheers
Andrew
